eMachines are a brand of low cost PCs first bought by Gateway Computers and later purchased by Acer Incorporated. These computers are a great value for general computing tasks. They perform well and have some nice additional features.

The eMachines’ ET1831-07 is a inexpensive, but highly rated desktop model. The system has more power than you would expect in a bargain computer. Its black tower design provides easy access front ports and inside you have more than enough power for excellent everyday performance:

The eMachines’ ET1831-07 has a built in SuperMulti DVD Drive that burns CDs and DVDs in multi-formats. It also has Multi-in-One memory card reader. The case has six USB 2.0 (two front, four rear), two PS/2, one VGA, and six audio ports (7.1 channel audio support). Pre-installed with the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system (64-bit version).
